Bike safety and corporate events

We will be happy to visit your company, government agency or major bicycle event and run a full day (or more) with training, service, repairs and lots of bike love. You bring the bikes – we bring happiness, stickers and chain oil. When the day is over, your staff can ride home safely on their newly serviced bicycles. With any luck, we’ll manage to inspire some of them to leave the car at home and continue riding to work.

Employees who ride to work are happier and healthier – while our climate gets a much needed kick in the right direction. By parking the car we reduce noise, traffic jams and wear and tear on the roads. Everyone is a winner when people choose to drive less and ride more. It has never been this easy for a company to make a difference for the environment and public health.

Reward your employees with well-lubricated chains, taut brakes and free-rolling wheels.

Bike safety day

On this (almost) magical day, Kevin comes to your company and overhauls all of your bikes during business hours. From this day and onwards your staff can commute safely by bike between home and work.

  • Saftety inspection of frame, fork and overall function
  • Controlling all lamps, reflectors and the bell
  • Chain – lubricating (if necessary)
  • Brakes – checking and adjusting (non hydraulic)
  • Switches – checking and adjusting
  • Tyre – condition control and inflating to correct pressure
  • Check and tightening of bolts, screws and nuts
  • Test ride

Kevin will compile a report for each bike, where each owner can read about their bikes eventual deviations, discrepancies and suggestions for future maintenance. The Bike safety day will be billed to the company after the event is concluded. Any repairs or additional service requirements is for the employees to decide for themselves and the company will not be charged any additional costs.
